At Cad Lab CNC, our in-house, custom-crafted Mask Agent is a must-know tool for anyone tackling multi-color anodizing projects. The Mask Agent is your creative ally—designed to let you block off specific surfaces on anodized aluminum, keeping them protected while you experiment with bold splatter patterns, drip art, or clean color separations.
Application Instructions
- Set Up: Ensure you’re in a well-ventilated area for safe application.
- Apply: Use a brush or applicator to coat the anodized aluminum surfaces you want to protect with the Mask Agent.
- Dry: Allow it to dry fully, about 15-20 minutes in a ventilated space—placing parts near a fan speeds up the process.
- Continue: Once dry, proceed with anodizing, painting, or removing unmasked areas while the masked sections stay shielded.
- Store: After use, seal the metal can tightly and keep it in a cool, dry spot for next time.
